Relais Castel Bigozzi is to be found immersed in Chianti, a land of wine and breath-taking landscapes. A medieval castle of the year 1000, it has been renovated and carefully equipped to become a 4-star hotel where to spend a relaxing stay.

It is said that the Castle used to be a place of refuge for the Ghibelline troops; today it welcomes guests from around the world: there they will experience Tuscany to the full.

The hotel today is composed of 17 rooms of various sizes, a swimming pool in Travertine marble overlooking the surrounding hills, a SPA with sauna and massage centre, a breakfast room overlooking the olive groves, a barbecue area and a park that surrounds the whole structure making it fabulous place.

The Bigozzi experience will begin at the reception, where our hostesses will welcome you; your rooms will be provided with all the necessary comforts; you will wake up to the scent of homemade cakes; in the afternoon, you can take a dip in the pool; in the wellness centre, you will experience absolute relaxation.

At the end of your stay Bigozzi will remain in your mind as a pleasurable sensation, and not just a name.

  • Beautiful place & great location

    Me and my wife have been here for the last week. We have used Castel Bigozzi as a base to tour central Tuscany. The hotel is charming, the staff have been curtious and attentive constantly. The hotel anticipated our out of hours arrival and arranged for our keys to be available without hassle. Easy reach from here from Florence to Siena. This has allowed us to chill in the morning by the pool and tour in the afternoon. Would stay again

  • Lovely traditional Tuscan hotel

    We loved our stay here. It is a great base for Siena. Close but peaceful rural setting. We stayed with 2 kids and all loved the pool and laid back atmosphere. Our room was large and comfortable. The pool area and grounds were v pretty with lots of flowers and wildlife and amazing views. The breakfast was good with nice coffee. Be aware that there is no eve food service but the local restaurant in the village is good. There was also a BBQ one evening which was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
